The weather tends to be hot from May until end of September. High season is July and August. Although quieter in June and late September, weather conditions are still good.

In the summer months there are usually light but steady north and north-westerly winds in the Ionian, with the maistro winds appearing in the afternoon. The Nort Sporades have prevailing north-eastern and north-western winds, with stronger meltemi winds in July and August.
